Although less than fifty years on the global stage, ISKCON has expanded widely since its founding by His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhup\u0101da in New York City in 1966.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>ISKCON belongs to the\u00a0<em>Gaudiya-Vaishnava<\/em>\u00a0<em>samprad\u0101ya,<\/em>\u00a0a monotheistic tradition within the Vedic or Hindu culture.
